Understanding the General Strike

This is a systematic report on the General Strike in South Korea, published by Korea Labour & Society Institute(KLSI). It covers day-by-day change of struggle situation from Day 1, December 26 to Day 24, January 18. It also explains major issues of the labor laws by comparison between privious law and passed one.
We are convinced that it will be helpful for the international community to understand the general strikes in South Korea as KLSI hopes.

This "Struggle News Flash" is issued everyday by the National Committee for the Revocation of the Labor Law and NSPA Act Amendments and the Preservation of Democracy(NCNP), and distributed to the internet by TTGS. NCNP is a nationwide committee organized to nullify the anti-democratic laws, and consisted of many social organizations including KCTU and FKTU.
